  • The Minogue Sisters Month

    November will be a month for the Minogue's. Not only Kylie will be releasing her new single "2 Hearts" and album "X" in Nov., Dannii will be releasing her new single "Touch Me Like That". It's a stompy dance track, which is more ear-catching than Kylie's "2 Heart"; and she looks like Kylie in the "Fever" years.

    In addition, Dannii will have a brand new compilation "Unleashed" featuring some unreleased tracks and rare mixes, and a DVD collection which includes all her videos and some rare footage. Moreover, her two previous albums "Girl" and "Neon Nights" will be re-released with tons of extra materials and mixes. Furthermore, a download only album "Club Disco" will be available next month too. So what can I say? I will be saturated by their voices.

  • KYLIE: 2 Hearts



    Kylie brand new single "2 Hearts" will be released in UK on 12 Nov. It's a funk-rock track, and it is not really what I expected from the dancing diva. The maxi single comes with an Alan Braze Remix. I haven't heard it yet. Hope it will be good. Anyways, here's the video:

  • Flashback!

    How many childhood heroes can you recognize from the following video?

    I think this video clip is the best of the best. My favourite is the "Daiku Maryu Gaiking" (大空魔竜ガイキング) (aka. 宇宙飛龍 in HKG). When I was a kid, I was very intrigued by its skull-like head: (1) it looked rather like a monster robot (2) it could transformed into a robot body. I guess this anmie inspired another anmie robot series "The Golden Lion Robot" which came a few years later.

    The original Gaiking (1976) plus many others








    The original Gaiking was defeated in the first half of the anime, and a 2nd generation Gaiking was created with more powerful weapons. The head of Gaiking was slighty different from the first generation; and I like the 2nd generation better.

    In 2005, they did a remake of Gailking with a brand new story line and a new set of characters. I watched a few clips, and it was not as good as the original one.

  • Hard Canadian: Victor Webster



    The first time I saw Victor Webster was on "Sex And The City" (2003); he was the stockbroker playmate of Samantha Jones. He is such a hunk! And he is from Calgary.

    He landed a role in the soap opera "Days Of Our Lives" in 1999. And in 2001, he became the lead actor of the Sci-Fi series "Mutant X". Apparently, he worked very hard on the set:
